Not sure I'm understanding your question, but: since most text is in mixed case which is dominated by lowercase, x-height has the largest (though not only) impact on perceived size at a given point-s…3 -

Maybe an outstroke on the /mu (like the /iota)? And does the /xi need a left-to-right stroke at the top? (Caveat: not a native reader)1 -
